Job Overview
The Accountant will support the Finance Department by managing bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and financial reporting. This position ensures accurate records, compliance with tax laws and internal controls, and supports external audits.
Reports to: Accounting & Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Support month-end and year-end close processes and group reporting.
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
Participate in financial standards setting and forecasting.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Prepare schedules and provide information for external audits.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
QualificationS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
Fluency in both French and English is an advantage.
Audit background preferred.
Experience working with a global company is an added advantage.
Familiarity with financial reporting requirements.
